How to find serial number location for ECHO GT (Curved Shaft) Trimmers

Where is the serial number or manufacturing number located on my ECHO GT (Curved Shaft) Trimmers?

GT-225:

This model will have one of the following locations:

With the unit off, look below the air filter cover and above the fuel tank. The model and serial number are on a black and white or black and silver sticker attached to the silver engine block. 

With the unit off, look below the air filter cover and above the fuel tank. The model and serial number are engraved on the silver engine block. 

The serial number will begin with the letter "S" OR "T" OR "U" followed by 11 numbers (Example: S09911001001 OR T75514001001 OR U05912001001).

 

GT-225i:

This model will have one of the following locations:

With the unit off, look below the air filter cover and above the fuel tank. The model and serial number are on a black and white or black and silver sticker attached to the silver engine block. 

With the unit off, look below the air filter cover and above the fuel tank. The model and serial number are engraved on the silver engine block. 

The serial number will begin with the letter "S" OR "T" OR "U" followed by 11 numbers (Example: S54711001001 OR T75714001001 OR U00214005000).

The serial number will begin with the letter "T" followed by 11 numbers (Example: T78514001001).
